Jerry Odom aka (Mr.Odom) aka (The King's Son) is our 178lb open class boxer. Jerry is 19 years old and is one of the top 178lb in the USA. Jerry began boxing at the age of 14 and quickly became a force in his weight class. Here's a list of some of Jerry accomplishments: 2012 National Golden Gloves Champion at 178lb (Received the Golden Boy Award for Outstanding Boxer), 2011 USA National Silver Medalist, 2011 National Golden Gloves Silver Medalist. 2010 Gold in USA vs. Puerto Rico Dual, 2010 National PAL Silver Medalist, 2010 National Golden Gloves Quarterfinalist, National Under 19 Silver Medalist, 2010 USA Senior National Quarterfinalist, 2010 Ringside World Champion, 2009 National Junior Olympic Champion, 2009 Ringside World Champion, 2009 National Pal Champion, 2009 Silver Gloves Champion, 2008 Ringside World Champion. Along with many local and regional championships. Jerry finish 2nd in the 2011 National Golden Gloves and received a Silver Medal. Jerry also won the Siver Medal (Couldn't compete in the Championship fight due to injury) in the 2011 USA Senior National Championships and earned a berth to the 2012 Olympic Trials at 178lb. Jerry finished 3rd in the 2012 Olympic Trials. Jerry is now professional im the Super Middle Weight Division. Record 1 - 0 (1 KO)
Kevin Rivers Jr is our 132lb open class boxer. The 20-year old from Palmer Park, Maryland (a graduate from Potomac High School, with honors), is already an outstand boxer in his owe right but believes with the help of Coach Bernard and Lamont Roach, he will be a dominate fighter as he makes his quest to be a part of the 2012 Olympic Team. Kevin has won the Ringside World Championship, National PAL Tournament and Jr. Golden Gloves—being named Outstanding Boxer of the tournament. Kevin has competed and won in virtually every major amateur boxing tournament there is: National Silver Gloves, National Golden Gloves, US Future Stars, Under 19 National Championships, AIBA Youth World Championship, World Championships, US Nationals and even most recently competing in Italy against the Italian National Team. In 2009 Kevin was the #1 125lbs boxer in the United States after winning the US National Championships in Denver, Colorado. Kevin is now professional in the Super Featherweight Division. Record 2-0 (1KO)

 

Pictured below is Lamont Roach Jr. Lamont is one of our JO boxers and is currently 16yrs old and 132lbs. He started boxing at the age of 9 and has been one of the best in the USA year in and year out. Lamont just won the 2012 Ringside World Championship at 132lb. Lamont also won the National PAL Championship in the 15/16 132lb weight class. The PAL was held in Toledo,Ohio on October 2nd thru October 9th 2011. Lamont won the 132lb, 2011 Ringside World Championship in August 16-21st. Lamont captured the silver medal in the 2011 National Junior Olympics. In July 2011 Lamont Roach Jr. won 15/16 125lb Championship in Nevada to claim his second straight National Junior Golden Gloves Championship. In July, 2010, Roach, at 14, won the Junior Golden Gloves National Championship in the 125-pound, 13/14-year-old division. The Junior Golden Gloves victory adds to Roach's hardware, which includes three Ringside World Championships juniors national titles, three Junior Olympics East Central Region junior titles, 5 time DC/MD Golden Gloves Champion and the honor of earning "Outstanding Fighter" at the 2009 Mayor's Cup, held in Washington, D.C. Lamont placed 3rd and recieved the Bronze medals in the 2009 and 2010 National Police Athletic League championships. Lamont Jr., currently a junior at Wise High School in Upper Marlboro, Maryland has been featured in the Maryland Gazette on many occasions. He is definitely one to look for in the future.

 

Jalonte “Malik” Cole, pictured below a 16-year old resident of Southeast, Washington, D.C. is one of our young outstanding up and coming boxers. Jalonte is currently ranked #2 in the USA at 125lb. Jalonte took the Silver Medal in the 2012 National Junior Olympics, losing a very close 13-12 decision. 2011 National PAL Silver Medal at 119lb. Year 2010 was Jalonte’s breakout year, becoming the 2010 National Pal Champion at 114lb, 2010 Ringside World Champion at 114lbs, the 2010 National Junior Golden Gloves Bronze Medalist, and the 2009 and 2010 DC/MD Junior Olympic Champion.

 

Ronnell ‘Fats’ Jackson, pictured below, is one of the young, hungry boxer in the No “X” Cuse Gym. ‘Fats’ is the 2011 National Silver Gloves Champion in the 14/15 106lb division. He just recently won the 2011 DC/MD Golden Gloves. Fat also won the 2009 Ringside World Champion and the 2009 Mayor’s Cup Champion. Considered a very hard worker, ‘Fats’ is one to watch.

 Drayvontay Speed-Rawls ((18yrs old) is pictured below. Dray is our 141lb boxer. Dray won the 2011 Ringside World Championship in the 141lb Open Division.
